MiCaddie ("we," "our," or "us") is a mobile application that helps golfers organize and recall swing thoughts on the course. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
By using MiCaddie, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
When you create an account, we collect:
We do not collect passwords. Email authentication uses one-time magic links only.
If you subscribe to MiCaddie Pro, purchase transaction data (product ID, subscription status, expiration date, store) is processed by RevenueCat and synced to our servers. We do not have access to your payment method details (credit card, etc.) — those are handled entirely by Apple or Google.
We collect first-party analytics to improve the app, including:

Some data is cached locally on your device for offline access (e.g., your word list, pending sync operations). Local storage is protected by your device's built-in security (passcode, biometrics).
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data from our servers within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.
Analytics data may be retained in anonymized or aggregated form for product improvement.

You can request deletion of your account and all associated personal data by emailing support@micaddiegolf.com with the subject line "Delete My Account" and the email address associated with your MiCaddie account. We will process your request within 30 days.
Upon deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:
MiCaddie is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Your data may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. By using MiCaddie, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries that may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
